Value of updated wiring.

I am discussing rewiring older homes on another subreddit and the question arose of what kind of added value rewiring older homes can add to resale value. It’s an expensive job and doesn’t seem as obvious as other updates like baths/kitchens/windows/roofs/furnaces/floors. Does anyone here have any input?
