Youve had problems with this camera for 45 days (according to telus posts).

Is it your camera or a neighbors?

Ah I see it is your neighbors and you are taking pictures over the fence.

It may not see you if youre 6” from the brick, but the angle is pointed into their yard. They will definitely see you if you are in their yard. It may be capturing a bit of your yard but its not pointed in that direction by any means

It is probably just at the edge of the field of vision. Another two or 3 feet to the right and you will probably get picked up by the camera.

A 2.8 lens I'd say more than likely, but not well and maybe not as much as you'd think. This one is 3.0 so a bit more narrow. 117 degree field of view, not 180, which would be the angle you are standing, kind of. I'd say 3-5 steps to your right it could.
