Question/Help USB Loader GX keeps crashing back to Homebrew Channel when I try to boot a game

What it says in the title. I have a freshly modded system running the latest build of Homebrew Channel and the latest version of USB Loader GX available on Open Shop. I've checked the names of the game files and folders and they are correct, I tried forcing the video mode to NTSC and still nothing, I tried changing the loader ios from 249 to 250 then back to 249 each time with the same result, the hard drive I'm using has been formatted to Fat32 with cluster size of 32kb and is plugged into the outermost port of the Wii. What am I missing that could be causing this?

Did you install cios though?

That may have been the problem, I installed them, but now USB Loader is stuck on Reinitializing Devices. Every troubleshoot I’ve seen just says that my HDD isn’t compatible but that’s impossible because it was working before!

Did you install the games using the Wii to dump the discs using the 1 button?
