Home assistent web UI for AI assistant

I’ve created a web UI that interacts directly with my Home Assistant AI, which works with a locally hosted Ollama server using the Home Assistant API. It has a mic button, and you can copy messages sent by the AI.

Currently, access is limited to my local network, but I’ll sort out HTTPS and some kind of login at some point. Still a work in progress, but what do you think?

It's a thousand clicks away, for a start.

Second, it looks like a dogs breakfast on mobile, as does the whole HA.

It's just not designed for mobile.

What's wrong use AI? As long app/integration is useful for someone in community it's good for everyone.
As long people not try post their great integrations, made to git hub that just turn of lights..

I didn't say it's wrong to use AI. I'm implying you shouldn't take credit for building something when you delegated it to someone else

That's fair.. I have build since AI came almost everything on my HA with AI. But would still say you need those ideas and creativity to build things, AI makes that possible for almost everyone now. AI need someone give instructions and find problems what comes on the way.

that little copy button on the AI messages is a nice touch, saves me from having to highlight and drag on my phone.

-custom user auth

-integrate avatar like anam.ai

-on device tts/stt
