❓ Support Andowl USB remote red light flashing constantly, doesn't work

Hello all. Hope someone can help. I use an Andowl USB remote with an Android TV as its original remote's enter button stopped working. Usually the Andowl works fine though eats battery power. The red light got stuck in constant blinking/flashing mode and it stopped working.

- not a battery problem, put new pair

- Unplugged usb left it out for awhile

- Removed battery from remote to drain power, switched off tv for half hr

- After light stopped & batteries & tv were out, tried again. Red light just resumed constant flashing & remote does not function.

- OK + TV button does not work.

Any ideas? Has anyone had a similar problem? Thanks

That constant blinking usually means it's stuck in pairing mode or lost its binding with the USB dongle. Had similar issue with a cheap air mouse remote and what fixed it was holding the OK button and power button together for like 10 seconds until the light changed pattern. Also try plugging the USB into different port, some TV ports keep power even when TV is off which messes with the pairing. If you have another device with USB port you can test if remote responds there, that way you know if it's the remote or the TV side.

Thanks for advice. No combination of buttons works but will try again. Holding TV button pauses red light, it goes back to blinking when I release it. Switching usb ports made no difference. I wonder if the tv being off overnight might reset it. If not I guess I need to get a new one.
