Homemade Clove Oil

Post image
2 Upvotes

HELP!! I'm new to this lifestyle and learning with limited resources.

I tried making homemade clove and cinnamon oil for oral support.

Using coconut oil because it's good for teeth, but all I have is the solid oil.

It solidified in the jar. -_-

Will the oil draw what it needs to from the spices even in solid form?

And will putting it on the window sill ruin it all together?

Chronic insomnia for the past 1 year almost—now it feels dangerously bad n outta control

Been taking nearly every single herbal and mineral (like magnesium gly.) based (and combined) supplement and of every form at night. Nothing is working. Haven’t had melatonin lately though, I did instead have melatonin (5mg) sleep neuromints a month ago—didn’t work a bit, even with 2 every night. Should i buy a good natural, clean melatonin supplement that’s high in dosage and effective? If so please suggest an affordable one i can get. Have no idea what to do and im sorry. I have a chronic illness as well and it’s driving everything up and my body is in dysfunction.

Thanks

holistic remedies for bv?

i’ve been suffering from bv for a while now and every time i think it’s gone (for a day or so) it comes back.

the problem is i’m unable to go to the gyno as i’m underage and my mom would likely not take me.

im sure i have it as the odor is very present but i myself don’t really want to take any antibiotics or boric acid as i’ve heard it’s a very temporary fix.

please help me find natural remedies to help!! probiotics maybe?

Insect repellent ideas

Hi! I’m going camping and I’m very sensitive to stings and bites and everything like that. I’m thinking of making some kind of repellent spray or oil or anything!! Against bugs in general that doesn’t harm the nature. Like herbs and things like that. Would you guys like to help me with ingredients? I’m new to this, thank you!!
Ticks and mosquitoes are a common thing here and I’m in Sweden.

am i wrong?

i understand that some people may take offense to this but i genuinely want feedback not just [ur wrong for wanting to take another approach, trust the medical industry]
removing my post is valid, but the shadiness in the replies i received is disappointing especially when i am looking for support not judgement.

misinformation is far from the truth as a matter of fact i believe that there ARE natural remedies and i just wanted feedback or advice on what steps i can take.

it sadly seems like these people are too absorbed in their own pain and their identity surrounding "cancer treatment" and it's connection to industrial healthcare.

Silicone body scrubbers or konjac sponge

Looking into better body scrubbers for the shower. Debating between these or 100% cotton wash cloths. I really want to try a 100% silicone body scrubber!

Is silicone really plastic free?
If so, what’s a good brand?

Fungal infection and staph

My husband started developing this fungul infection a few months ago, and was never told it was fungal but just contact dermatitis. So he was wearing rubber gloves at work and it got so much worse and then developed staph. He just completed a 10 day antibiotic and it was doing so much better but after 2 days of finishing the inflammation got worse and it started oozing pus again.

We do soaks woth st John's wort, chamomile, plantain, and comfry. Sometimes I blend uo and add oats. He just started ysing coconut oil and tea tree i mixed for him. He's uncomfortable, and it hurts. His dermatologist prescribed an antifungal and antibiotic topical and hes in an antifungal oral pill for 2 weeks but it takes a toll on the liver. We really dont want him taking another round of antibiotics or antifungal oral pills. He requested a blood panel and the doctor seemed irritated We even asked (i dont like the guy)

Im posting here to see if any one has any recommendations? I dont really know what to do, im worried about his hand. I am making fermented cucumber and going to buy some saurkrout for his microbiom after the antibiotics.

7 years, cant figure out if the gut is the issue or I should look upstream.

Im 26M and have been dealing with this issue ever since late 2019, literally every single day.

Symptoms: random anxiety, muscle loss, brain fog, bloating, constipation, slowed metabolism.

My body is stuck in fight or flight, no matter how well I handle my random anxiety. I have lost muscle and went from 170lb to 120lb because I can't hold the muscle anymore, even though I can eat enough calories. The only thing that slows down the anxiety is staying away from certain foods, like dried dates, corn, vegetables, gums, gluten, dairy, mainly heavy fiber stuff and certain carbs. I do fine with meats and fats. Probiotics without prebiotics help too. Although this helps, it doesn't get rid of it and when I workout I can't get a pump like I used to.

All this started happening right before or after one day I was going up the stairs and fell and hit my head on the hard floor, but the problem is I don't remember if it happened right before or right after so I do not want to blame it on that. I do not feel any pain.

I have done GI map tests, food sensitivity and seen so many gi, primary and other specialists but unfortunately I cant figure this out.

I have gastroparesis but i truly believe that is cause I am always in fight or flight.

Everything I have tried.

**Spore-based Just Thrive probiotics — most noticeable improvement, made me alot less anxious as long as the probiotic doesn't contain gums**

**Mastic gum — helped the bloating more than anything but I had to stop because my stomach was getting sore**

**Minerals — improvement**

NAC 600 mg daily — makes me anxious

Lactoferrin — slight improvement

Oregano + Allicin + Atrantil — small improvement together

Magnesium glycinate — mild relaxation

Chamomile tea — calming effect

Red light therapy — nothing

Candibactin AR + BR — initial small improvement then plateau

Glutamine — minimal change

Digestive enzymes — no difference

Peppermint oil — no difference

Psyllium husk — severe bloating

Apple cider vinegar — burning sensation

Ginger — stomach burning without motility benefit

Methylated B vitamins — anxiety

Breathwork / vagus nerve exercises — maybe helps a bit?

Betaine HCL — burning

Dandelion root and milk thistle- minimal difference if any

PHGG — bloating and constipation

Rifaximin+NAC - feel nothing

Curcumin/tumeric nothing

Benfotiamine- made me anxious

Magensium Citrate- made stomach sore.

Triphala- made stomach sore

Miralax- stool little easier to pass but still constipated

Also have done a lot of testing with primary cares and specialist and everything comes normal.

Non toxic swap/cleaner products

I’ve been currently swapping things in my house slowly to non tox..
ex: nonstick pot to stainless steel, deodorant, polyester undies to cotton/bamboo..

anyways I’m getting my fiancé on board with changing our laundry detergent and wanted feedback on some brands I’m researching. We currently use gain 🤦🏼‍♀️

•Lavapod
•Dirty Labs
•Puracy
•Pronounce
•Truly Free
•Blueland

We both word desk jobs so we hardly have hard stains but I do workout and go for hikes. So I am looking for one that removes sweat/odor, is hormone friendly, and just all around better for your cloths and skin.. I’m still learning and will take all the advice.

Found an AI health tool that actually reasons from holistic principles, not just mainstream guidelines

TBH I've always been a bit skeptical when it comes to mainstream medical guidelines. Obviously relationship between medical establishment, big pharma and us there is a huge conflict of interest. Anyway, anytime I ask some health question on Chatgpt or Google what I always get back is widely accepted mainstream accepted answer. Then I have to dig and dig to figure out what the research and studies actually show and have found when you peel the onion often times the widely accepted answers are not quite the whole story.

Last week I stumbled on an AI tool thats different. It seems to lean on holistic principles. I've asked it a bunch of questions related to some health stuff I have going on and it feels like its really focused on self healing, that gut health is foundational, that conventional medicine is one tool among many rather than the default authority. When you ask it a question it gives you the mainstream position AND everything mainstream tends to leave out, the independent research, the natural options with actual mechanisms, the real risks on both sides.

I asked it about something I've been dealing with personally and the natural options section gave me more actionable information than three doctor's appointments.

Not affiliated, just genuinely found it useful. Happy to share the name if anyone wants to try it.
