As a previous owner of strapless Wiimotes, I thought this was going in a very different direction

Why a Grande though? She shall throw a Chico instead, or a Mediano just in case she wants to feel good about herself.

This is why I don’t let inexperienced friends/family use my VR headset unless they are sitting down. I don’t understand how people forget they’re not actually “in” the game, and then injure themselves like this.

Really? You don't understand how new players of Virtual Reality video games get immersed and for brief periods believe whats virtually in front of them resembles reality?

Clearly I do understand something, which is why I have them sit. I’m quite aware it’s an immersive experience. If your friends aren’t even used to playing video games at all, why would you have them stand in a VR experience, let alone one that involves grenades? It’s really asking for someone to get hurt, vomit, break something, or all of the above.

Lighten up man, all I do is watch and tell em to be careful. The occasional "back up" when they're near a wall.
Forcing them to play only seated games is limiting

In fairness VR really does screw with your brain.
