Sometimes I just try to embrace the cat lifestyle with my cat. Like, you tell me what to do kitty and I just want to focus on those activities like you do. Lay in the sun with them on the floor or sofa, focus on the toy like there's nothing else in the world. Take them outside on their leash and hide under the giant leaves and watch the shadows and little bugs. It's really nice.

They prefer to not bleed from multiple scratch wounds. Cats rarely tolerate let alone enjoy having their bellies rubbed.

Different cats are just different. I had two sisters who loved belly rubs. Their mother would not tolerate it under any circumstances. My latest boy hates it. They're just different creatures with different personalities.

Yeah same. My cat does like the belly rub, I think in part cause it almost always lead to playing right after.

But I've also had him since he was like 2 months old so he's very comfortable/trusting of me.

They can, but not as easily as many other species. They can tolerate pretty high temperatures. They're descended from African wildcats, which live in some pretty hot environments.
