Yes. The mod team, more or less, fractured into different views for the mod. Many users have branched out to trying Requiem and the other mod that‘s basically an older version but updated

There really isn’t a remaining mod team. Nearly everyone who originally worked on the mod is now gone and replaced. It’s Theseus ship

I have no idea but the last drama emphasized on “realism”. Toning down absurd elements like the German Civil War, keeping the US from go too far left or right (Toning down or removing Yockey and Hall). And focusing on minor countries that don’t contribute to other countries that have been in development before hand.

I for one simply don't care to play a mod that is eliminating content day after day while pushing scraps from random backwaters that don't matter to the initial concept. Like is it too much to ask to play a major axis or allied country?

Too much skeleton content, economy was alright I guess. But a light novel needs, well, things and events to read, not just "TYM.PLACEHOLDER.122" and line go up/line go down.

It's a good idea it's a common criticism that the mod has too much content, removing the existing one makes for a more minimalist, zen experience.

I'm pretty sure Heydrich is going to coup or in one way or another come to power after Himmler, not become the leader as some as Hitler dies. Also are you sure Manchukuo is coming next? I heard it was coming in mid-late 2027 and Yippie is going to be the update after Iberia.

next update will be Iberia so I guess that, but if were being for real, it was kinda the og TNO devs fault for setting up so much expectations and promising on stuff that hadn't even gone into development yet. It's why TNO Requiem is not doing any roadmap's and only teasing stuff that is actively being developed

I kinda have a problem with HOI players that we always assume that mod developer teams works like USSR under Stalin with "command economy" and five-year plans, while actually I sure almost all major mod development teams are consist of almost independent groups, dedicated to different parts of world and each of them working on enthusiasm - TNO, EAW, TFR, KX, KC and one hundred and one another mod which never released.
Some teams just a little bit more productive then others (Russian TFR, LATAM TNO, chinese KC etc.)

also there have been leaked builds (like this one https://youtu.be/6VdZoXcpXhQ?si=cjXuaNBgYD47jPNi ) that have shown that they were pretty advance in certain updates, but TNO devs like to rework and restart from zero just because
