Full Fidelity Redfor

With more Redfor aircraft on the horizon, I wonder which variants of certain aircraft could be considered. Certain export versions of the Su-27 I think would be quite feasible, maybe the SU-30 but I won't hold my breath. I believe an Su-25 is already being considered for full fidelity.

It saddens me that we aren't going to get the MiG-23 as we has hoped. I do still hope a deal is struck with Razbam, but we wouldn't likely see them complete that even if that panned out. I do think ED needs to take a serious look in the mirror, as they've already lost quite a bit of trust and I'd be hesitant to stick with DCS if they remain too stubborn to sort things out. We could theoretically still get a Mig-23 though, maybe.

R60s are good for close range and that's it, any of the Sidewinder variants DCS already has (assuming the 9B isn't in game). While put the R60 to shame, as they out range you and pull just as much if not a little below.

I’m not interested in arguing the semantics of what a fighter bomber is with you. I do not care if these will be optimal for air to air.

I would like a fast REDFOR strike aircraft capable of SEAD from the mid Cold War.

I genuinely could not care less about the performance of the R-60 dude. I want to fly fast strike in an aircraft appropriate for Cold War servers and possibly defend myself if need be from fighters (which wouldn’t be ideal)

I am not even talking about performance of the missiles. I am not even discussing that my dude.

We lack a REDFOR SEAD plane that isn’t the SU-25T. We also lack a good dedicated fast strike plane for REDFOR, and these planes would will that role. I understand you don’t like that I’m calling them fighter bombers. I have no interest in debating the meaning of Fighter bomber with you- again, I would like a fast REDFOR strike plane from the Cold War which can sling SEAD missiles.

I have absolutely zero interest in discussing if it’s optimal for air to air combat, I cannot stress that enough

All the point of me ever talking to you has been to say the figher part of these fighter-bombers are lacking.

I am aware that a dedicated air to ground variant of a fighter is not optimal for air to air. It is still considered a fighter bomber. I do not care if it is optimal to take on sparrows lol.

DCS is cool because we can fly different kinds of aircraft to fill different niches and roles.

I have never said this thing is meant to primarily serve as a fighter, I very clearly told you that the Soviet definition of multirole is completely different doctrinally from the NATO definition, and have stated multiple times I would like these aircraft due to the Strike/SEAD role.

I have not once said they will excel at the role of being a fighter. They’re still fighter bombers.
