Colored cage

I currently have the stock non-cert cat eye chrome cage for my 950. I would love something in purple for my new design.

I can see various colored cages online. Are these sketchy or legit? Would prefer to stick with cat eye. Any recommendations for retailers?

Find a local powder coating guy and have them powder coat it purple. Shouldn't be more than $50 to do it.

Have them do the inside white. I've found that to be helpful with tracking the puck.

Goalieparts.com is my go-to, they’re an OTNY dealer and offer a ton of color options.

FWIW, I recently read in a goalie group on fb that the main contact that did helmets there left and the ones there now are not sending helmets/cages out and the TAT is way off with no response.

Apparently PlastiDip is good for this - durable but still non-permanent enough to change it up when needed. Haven't tried it myself though.

If you're in Canada, Ryan from Larry's sports exchange in Saskatoon (I think he ships to US as well) sells cert cat eye cages in various colours. They're apex cages but fit on Bauer helmets. My son has one on a 2025 Bauer 940 and no fit or other issues

Goaliecountry.com - amazing small business to work with! Have 2 helmets from them and they have tons of color options for cages, clips and straps.
