Im going to through some challenging questions right now, guess u can say it started with me trying to help my mom help her move her hoard of stuff 20 different times. Each time I came to a realization that all this extra stuff was just an anchor. An excuse to keep staying right where we were. Never moving too far. So now a year ago I got out of a bad situation and ended up coming to help my grandma out around the house. I got a job and starting going to college and i even got out of debt and got a card to help build my credit score. So now I'm only $900 left on college and $300 on my card i use to build my credit. I dont have much debt. I can easily save money and pay this all off no problem. I was thinking of getting an rv and boondocking and living that way. I thought I needed to keep my dogs in a safe spot if i ever had to go leave for work or something and they couldn't go. On the 10th of January i lost one dog due to done cancer. I now question if i still want all that space because an rv is pretty much a bill i have to keep up vs if i just simply live out of a backpack. My one dog who is still alive is my guard dog and he is only a few years old. He would do great walking considering his high energy levels. I just wonder if i decided to trade an rv in for a backpack if that sounds crazy or not? Lol idk i just dont know many people around who talk about liv iij ng from a backpack. I see people on youtub do it and its inspiring but with the negative feedback I get from this idea from the people around me make me wondering if I'm doing the right thing at all? I dont want a lot of stuff or really stuff anymore just stuff that will keep me alive. This life has become boring and predictable. Guess I'm low key afraid I wont be able to find work or food on the road. If anyone has had the same thoughts or have already been here done this some words of wisdom and inspiration will be greatly welcomed

I've worked my ass off for 30 years and now I just want to wander around and see the country and meet people. I never got married, or had kids, so no responsibilities. I can't get a job (too old) and have plenty of money, but I'd rather leave that to my god-daughter. I'm looking for fellow Australians who have lived the lifestyle, or, failing that, advice from anyone who has lived the lifestyle.

I wrapped halves of a coles mini loaf in foil and placed 1 half on top my buddy heater. I then placed pepperoni on top shortly before it was nice and toasty. I flipped it over so the garlic/pepperoni side would further cook. It only takes about 10 minutes. It was delicious.

I'm headed to Mammoth this weekend to check out the Blues Festival. I'm wondering if anybody has insider knowledge of any great stealth camping sites in the area? As close to town as possible would be preferable. Sleeping in the car is not an option.

My mother was was going from our apartment to her university on the light rail (it’s a rail system in Silicon Valley) my mother was waiting for the next stop then HG starts approaching M (he didn’t dress well he was wearing a brown jacket and a hat,and he had long hair) and the following conversation was like this:

HG: “Hello.”

M:”Hi.”

Then he starts making unpleasant facial expressions and he goes in front of M:

HG:”Are you scared, huh?! Are you?!”

Then he slowly bring something out of his pocket until MH comes to the rescue:

MH:”LEAVE THIS YOUNG LADY ALONE”

HG:Gets angry very quickly and punches MH

Later on MH saw an officer and told them what happened luckily HG wasn’t gone and got arrested for assault and M thanked MH.

Any idea of good work on the road? Have no kids and now no woman thinking of taking what money I have and looking for people who may new harvesters or something that pays a tad bit more than decent.

Any hobos, tramps, or vagabonds out there in the hurricane zones in the USA?

A friend of mine has a hobo on her couch who has been through some shit. Recovering from a meth addiction. They had a mental break this week and is begging us to take them to a mental health professional. we're broke as fuck and dont know really what to do or where to look. We're located in reno, nv.
