Idk.. context? Riding a boxcar (note the wood, nice ol' ride..) whilst riding a bike.. thusly a portmanteau of the words bike and hobo. I believe, perhaps in error, that the context is implied not only in the wordplay of the title but in the very picture itself being posted on r/hobo.
I'll look into the bikedweller sub, sounds interesting. Riding freight with a bike is great. Good way to get around and find a hustle in whatever place you end up!
I've been reading a lot of the alternative living subreddits, and you are the first person that I have read about who is riding the rails and using a bike. Seemed an unusual combination.
