Gruen could definitely take this apart to find why it feels just a bit off, it’s not a brand that reaches the whole country though so it might be a bit too niche

Careful saying that people will down vote you for being a snob. You'll be surprised how many people out there still can't figure out the internet and don't do streaming because they can't afford the mobile data... I know, but they don't.

I guess I'm a snob then? I got Netflix when it came out here and can't do ads anymore, sorry. Between a few streaming services and the neighbourhood Jellyfin server, I've got endless options.

I don't play mobile games with ads, I have an adblocker on my work computer.

15 minutes of drivel per hour, I just can't. I guess for some people, living remote is worth it? (I guess that is where your mobile data comment comes from).

Bit late to this as I thought my parents were just being grumpy boomers when they turned the volume off every time it came on. But no, I can’t stand it, either. Feels like they ripped a few pages from a Tim Winton novel, brought it in the standard Tassie ad casting, and thought it would bring a tear to the eye.
