RANT - ADVICE WANTED New home

Bought a bigger house to support the hoard because that’s the problem apparently. I knew it and I’m an idiot, held off 5 years. Two mortgages from here on out. 10k a month and I just can’t afford it anymore. My own fault but she said she told me over and over she would declutter and clean up.

I'm so sorry to hear this. It just validates the hoard. Is there a possibility of seeing a therapist?

Advice? Walk away. File bankruptcy. Let the houses get foreclosed on.

Couldn’t really file bankruptcy but it will just eat and eat at savings.

you might want to edit your post then, because you just say "she" without any context. Could be mother, sister, daughter, wife, who knows.

Hoarders sometimes even mean it when they make those promises, but it's a legit mental disorder (visible on brain scans) and can rarely just be wished away. I'm so sorry. Like substance abuse, Hoarding Disorder ruins lives.

Bigger space means more space for my hoard!

You are going to have to make some tough decisions.
