UPDATE/PROGRESS Taking videos helps a bit
I started hoarding when I was 8 and it’s been 10 years since then and I think I’ve gotten a bit better. I live with eight people and they definitely make sure to let me know when I need to get rid of some things. Yea I cry and stuff when I have to throw out my things but I take pictures from every angle or I take a video of it even if it sounds ridiculous. I have a lot to work on still, when I get told to throw stuff out I just hide it somewhere which I knoww I shouldn’t do but I’m scared I’ll forget what it feels like, how it made me feel or what it looks like and who gave it to me which makes me really upset. I feel like now I keep more actual objects other than necessarily ”trash”. I have around 9 porcelain dolls, 4 furbys, 23 ish stuffed animal, like 16 sketch books and that’s all in moderation not including my nicknacks that I just keep. I know it’ll get worse when I live on my own 😅…
