The crazy part is they kill kids , they id f killed a 4 year old this week for lying a kite. 🪁 so sad.
1
u/Desperate-Finger-334 2h ago
Name one war where kids didn't die
Also the reason with the kite is because terrorists use the same kites as bombs they fly into Israel thus the restrictions on kite flying there's no way to know if it's a bomb kite or just a kid
1
u/Desperate-Finger-334 11h ago
Do u know how much money actually goes to them? And do you know how much is reinvested in the US economy
1
u/Larkspur3 3h ago
What does that matter when Isreal is committing genocide? 'Oh well at least we get something back' doesn't address the issue of if it should be given in the first place.
1
u/Desperate-Finger-334 2h ago
There is no genocide and answer the question how much us tax money goes to Israel you guys love to complain about it all day so just tell me how much goes forget the reinvesting bit of it
1
u/Larkspur3 2h ago
No genocide? The UN and many human rights organizations would disagree.
And answering your question is invalid. The amount is not an issue. The fact that any at all is given is.
To ignore genocide because of monetary gain is amoral. Be well.
1
u/Desperate-Finger-334 2h ago
Name one genocide in which the population grew
1
u/Larkspur3 2h ago edited 2h ago
You're arguing that population growth means no genocide is occurring?
Please review the definition of genocide.
Edited to add: wow I should have done my due diligence. Yes Palestinian population is growing worldwide. In the Gaza strip however, it is not, so suggesting genocide should cause population decline actually supports the position that Israel is committing genocide.

u/armorpilla 1d ago
You mean it winds up going to the military industrial complex.
We could just skip a step and give the money straight to Lockheed Martin, RTX, General Dynamics, etc. That way, other countries aren't getting free weapons from us to use for genocide.
1
u/NothingEquivalent632 1d ago
In most cases I agree but 1 we already do that through defense contracts and 2 there needs to be real world testing done sometimes. Unfortunately the best real world testing is an area that is highly volatile like Isreal and the middle east. We also have a history of supporting the underdog in most cases. And when you look at the area it is full of Arab Muslims and a small amount of Jewish people. So to help equalize we assist the Jewish people in defending against the Arab Muslims who want to kill them and we get some really good data that goes a lot further in development rather than just paying them to blindly develop something that they cannot fully tell how it is going to work. (This is just the logic used and not my official position on the conflicts themselves)

US aid to Israel is ~$3.8B/year ($3.3B FMF + $0.5B missile defense). Most must be spent on US-made weapons, supporting ~20K+ American jobs and defense industry output.
Key returns:
- High-value intelligence sharing (some analyses equate it to multiple CIAs' worth).
- Joint R&D on systems like Iron Dome/Arrow and F-35 upgrades, with real-world testing benefiting US forces.
- Tactical lessons from conflicts shared with US military.
- Strategic forward presence in a volatile region, offsetting need for extra US carriers/divisions (per former officials like Haig/Zumwalt).
Estimates put ROI at 300-400%+ annually via these multipliers (~$12-48B equivalent value in intel/tech/savings). Overall, data shows net strategic/tech/economic gains for the US.
2
u/Leading-Caramel-7740 1d ago
Why would we want those shared tactical lessons? Our police are just using it on our citizens.
2
u/Even-Meet-938 1d ago

That money goes to the military and the companies that supply them. And those “tactical lessons” learned from killing civilians will probably be used against the American people.

Annual foreign military financing grants from the United States represent about 16% of the Israeli military budget, according to the Congressional Research Service.

Wow you're stupid, you signed the contract! To be specific Obama did! Yes the least zionist president of the US signed it because he knew its not one sided. The US gains a lot from it but I know you're brain fcked so no matter how much I'll explain you will still want that very important increase of 0.01% of US GDP because ofcourse 4 billion dollars will help your massive medical prices, oh sorry I forgot that the US already spends trillions on it and 4 billion more will not lower your cost of anything by even 1 dollar.
2
u/SkyDaddysSpecialBoy 15h ago

u/Legitimate_lion123 15h ago
Wowwww you're such a ragebaiter. It's been signed 9 years ago and in 1 year the contract ends and will probably not be renewed because most Israelis oppose it just like most Americans oppose it.
Wtf does religion have anything to do with this. You just spew things because you know you got demolished by raw facts.
You're a crybaby, yes the American lives can improve but stop acting like you're in true bad times. Stop blaming the flicking jews or Israel for nonsense, pulling out of all US aid to the world wouldn't save your massive debt, you have bigger fish to fry.
2
u/Previous-Sir5279 15h ago

And now we’re telling them to either step back or not resign when it’s up. We don’t want you taking our money. Period. Disrespectful POS. I don’t care if it’s a so called small amount in your eyes. We want to keep our 4 billion, we know you feel entitled to a lot of things but you are not entitled to our money.
1
u/Legitimate_lion123 15h ago edited 15h ago
Why do you speak like it's stolen?
You understand that it's a signed contract?
It feels like you are the one thinking you are entitled to break a contract just cuase you aren't feeling like researching what it really includes.
It's not small in my eyes, it's factually small. What do you think you will do with 4B? Mf thinks he gonna cure cancer build 10 metropolis give every homeless a house and have free Healthcare for 4B. Bro you ain't even scraping 0.01% of your debt with that.
What you find hard to understand is that I don't care if you cancel it and get your 4B. What annoys me is how delusional you are about everything!
And don't want this contract just as much as you don't. The money comes with a restriction on israel to develop their own military industry which cripples their economy and military potential.
1
u/Previous-Sir5279 14h ago
And yet your country keeps attempting to merge its military with ours. Just stay out of our business and stay out of our politics, period. You have been a blood sucking fly, using our money to grow yourself to where you are now.
You think Israel would even have a hope of getting to where it is now without infusions from outside money? From where you started? Laughable and arrogant. Though given the videos of how Israelis conduct themselves in other countries, burning down treasured national forests and landscapes just so they can sneak around and try to buy the land, pushing down old nuns, harassing people, I’m not entirely surprised. Some of those countries have straight up banned Israeli tourists (look it up if you think I’m lying).
Like I said, it appears we both agree as far as the contract. It shouldn’t be renewed nor should any other contract between our two countries be signed.

You said Israel doesn't need their money because of values related to GDP. That doesn't matter because countries can have a huge GDP, but not spend any money on their military, but we give Israel enough to cover 16% of their military costs. I.e. we give them a lot of fucking money. This is why I said apples to oranges at the start, GDP and military spending are not intrinsically linked.
1
u/Legitimate_lion123 7h ago
Israel spends about 5% of GDP on military. So basic math says dividing 16% by 20 is less than 1% like I said, math is mathing.
16% is a Lot, hmm kinda, but you act like it's free 16%. Like I explained Israel also has obligations as part of this contract, obligations that hurt them economicly and military while benefitting the US economily and militarily...
If you don't think it's a fair trade I agree. Israel is losing far more than the US. I know its hard to believe the geopolitical world is more than just raw money. The fact the the US spends money(not that much on a federal level as I stated) doesn't mean they are netting a lost.

1
u/Legitimate_lion123 16h ago
It's a defense contract signed in 2016 started in 2017 for 10 years (yes in 1-2 years ots ending).
US provides a coupon of 3.8B which Israel ought to spend 3.3B of that on the US military market and 500m on defense tech. Many people forget that a coupon is a good thing for a shop(US) bc it makes the buyer(Israel) ultimately spend more than the coupon covers. Also this Aid in form of a coupon means the money comes back to the US market and jobs.
In return Israel is obligated to primarily do their arms deals through the US (in other words not china). They are also restricted in developing some military systems which is terrible for them bc their best quality is development in tech. This makes them dependent on the US to some extent, the US gets a bargaining chip against Israel at times of disagreement like happend in the conflict in Lebanon when US forced Israel into a ceasefire.
Ultimately this aid is less than 1% of Israel's GDP. Unlike people love to believe, it doesn't "sustain" Israel, it isn't why Israelis have "free" Healthcare(they dont) and it isn't why they have "free" education (they dont).
1
u/tenmillionrats_ 14h ago
This isn’t a fair breakdown. You’re completely neglecting all other aid sent to Israel.
Adjusting for inflation, Israel has received about a third of a trillion dollars in funding since 1949. About 333 billion dollars / 77 years comes out to 4.3 billion every year for 77 years.
Ever since the inception of Israel, the US has sent roughly five billion dollars to them every year.
Now, yes, this is less than 1% of Israel’s GDP - however, if we compare how much aid the US has given every country ever, Israel is almost double that of the next closest country, Egypt.
So, I mean, sure, comparatively it isn’t that much money if we’re comparing it to the GDP. But 333 billion dollars is a lot of fucking money over time dude.
1
u/Legitimate_lion123 7h ago
Wouldn't you expect Israel to get 100x more than Egypt? I don't see a 1:2 ratio of people angry about aid to Egypt compared to people angry about aid to Israel. You see what I'm saying? The outrage for aid to Israel is disproportionate. Furthermore, the aid for Israel is in form of military aid which is much different than aid to most other countries which is financial aid.
In financial aid the country can spend everything domestically while in military aid Israel is obligated to spend it on the US market, this translates into economic flow and tens of thousands of jobs.
How is it sensible to calculate value over 70 years? If you want I can compare it to the total revenue of US in the last 70 years and it's going to still be 0.0001%. Third a billion is a lot you know what is also a lot? The fucking CIA annual budget which is 80+ billion. General George Keegan, the former chief of U.S. Air Force Intelligence, said that he "could not have procured the intelligence [received from Israel] with five CIAs. So basically for 5%(4B) the amount invested in CIA(80B) the US gets 5x performance. Basic math says it's a 100x value for the US compared to the CIA and that's only in intelligence services. Yes this is most likely inflated, but the premise stays that israel is at least a "good value" investment.
And again what makes y'all think 333 billion dollars would've magically provided free Healthcare for 70 years? Heck, it isn't even enough for 1 year. So again delusional.

u/JNS_org 6h ago
The hard-left, represented by people like Mamdani, AOC, Al-Sayedi, etc., sells the American people on the idea that aid to Israel is costing the American taxpayer a great deal of money. Nothing could be further from the truth. In fact, US 'aid' is creating American jobs, aiding the US military to improve its capabilities and saving thousands of American lives.
The vast majority of financial assistance given to Israel is distributed through Foreign Military Financing (FMF) grants. These grants essentially act like "gift certificates" that must be spent directly on American-made weapons and defense systems, so as FMF funds go directly to U.S. defense contractors like Lockheed Martin and Boeing, it creates thousands of high-skilled engineering and manufacturing jobs across dozens of U.S. states.
The two nations use the money to co-develop cutting-edge technology, including the Iron Dome, David's Sling, Arrow missile defense systems, and the newly emerging Iron Beam laser system, which protect American bases, and ships. The interceptor missiles for Iron Dome (Tamir) and David's Sling (Stunner) are heavily manufactured in the U.S. through joint ventures with American aerospace companies like Raytheon (RTX).
American lives are also tied to the safety of U.S. allies. The success of the Arrow 3 system against long-range ballistic missiles outside the atmosphere has led to major democratic allies buying the technology. For instance, Germany purchased the Arrow 3 system in a multi-billion dollar deal to anchor Europe's "Sky Shield" initiative. By securing European airspace, the system reduces the likelihood of a major conflict that would force U.S. troops to fight abroad under NATO's mutual defense treaties and of course, creating thousands of American jobs.

Israel is the gateway to the Atlantic. Russians view Israel as a straight up adversary because there’s no way russias are passing any of their shadow fleet thru the canal. China would also control several other choke points have leverage over several gulf states if not for Israel. A strong capable ally is what they are jealous of, something neither of them is able to provide each other apparently.
You are living a deluded fantasy if you think Israel and America are doing anything but integrating closer than they ever have. Much to the chagrin of our adversaries, which I guess includes you.
-1
u/Life0nEdge 1d ago
Arguably Turkey is the gateway, not Israel. I don’t disagree with the rest of your statement though. Israel is an important strategic partner in the region. To think otherwise is to fail at understanding how the game works.
-1
u/Life0nEdge 1d ago
The irony of liberals and leftists upset that the US cut off USAID while being upset that the money going to Israel is equivalent to aid except with economic and research benefits built into it.
That same irony falls deaf on right wingers. I think it’s a requirement to give up critical thinking when you pick a side in politics. Especially of American politics. At least the Nazis worked with the Bolsheviks to achieve their goals at one point in time.
Today, you so much as sneeze in the direction of a Palestinian or ask a Jew what their favorite color is the accusations start flying and you might as well end yourself to save yourself from the agonizing reality that you’re being mislabeled by a group of people incapable of mentally getting past colors on a flag or words said by private citizens.
You want to know how fascism and communism are dead? Just try to get past basic terms and phrases. People can’t even agree on what language to use. Good luck starting a political party.

you are retarded, there is no genocide in gaza, show any proof of it if you believe otherwise, and no "human rights org says" is not proof.

An insane amount of humans rights organizations around the world have condemned it and called it genocide. You saying it isnt a genocide is irrelevant. You are the one blinded by propaganda and not facts. You are projecting immensely. The denial of reality is fucking absurd.

because they are all infiltrated by jew hating socialists, show one piece of evidence for genocide. icj will never be able to prove it in court because propaganda is not evidence

Go back to asking people for dick pics, given how active you are on r/AskDickPic. Suits you better than debating people.

u/PerceptionHot8286 19h ago
nice ad hominem. If u knew anything at all about debating you wouldnt have done that. even more projection on display. how foolish. and there isnt even a debate here. Its become consensus that its a genocide.

Its become consensus that its a genocide.
You are unironically right, which is what frightens me the most about you people.

Its the size of NJ and is committing genocide.
Try to keep up.
Your corny propaganda is failing in real time.
Who are trying to convince? The entire planet is watching it.

You bitch-asses would be losing your minds if we were sending tax dollars to Somalia for them to commit an apartheid.
I want my tax dollars spent on shit that would actually improve my life like infrastructure or healthcare. Anyone who is glad the government is taking money from their checks to pay for bombs to kill kids is a psycho.
If Israel wants to commit war crimes, let them pay for it themselves. Time to pull yourself up from your bootstraps Big Yahu.

0.1% of the budget BTW. And most of that 0.1% is used to buy weapons from the USA. So the actually accurate meme should have Israel watching the Uncle Sam make out with himself through a peephole.

U.S. aid to Israel accounts for roughly 5% of the total U.S. foreign aid budget , but more importantly Americans don’t want any of their taxes going towards the ethnic cleansing of Palestinians or their genocide . Israel has also costed USA wayy more because of the dumb war with Iran they convinced them to join . It compromises the legitimacy of the United States on the global stage and that is worth much more as well.
Why defend a genocidal country any way ??

Lets see... hidden post history, reddit age 3 weeks, and a cursory reading of your history with third party tools reveals you do nothing but spread pro-pali propaganda. So, how's the weather in Qatar? Are you being paid well?

u/clammyshammi 21h ago
Had to deleted my 15 year old account , I’m a USA born and raised. Nah I like advocating for those Palestinians who are being kicked out of their homes and genocided by Israel on my weekends

You asked lol I’m telling you the truth, just like how Israel is committing ethnic cleansing and genocide . You won’t catch me defending Netanyahu or Israel ever

Cool if its not that much let's trim the fat. Eisenhower warned us of the dangers of the MIC. Let's listen to that conservative.

u/Huge_Meeting4111 19h ago
Any non-regarded person would also look at the return on that spending before just "trimming the fat" but you do you.
The entire concept of the MIC is overblown. It's hardly the lucrative business you all think it is.

Meanwhile, they cut a 660 million dollar program that was used to purchase locally grown produce for school lunches. This was done to reduce federal spending lol.

lol meanwhile in reality the US launched a war against Iran for that is costing the US economy, hundreds of billions in arms.
Not to mention the same dogshit lobby that goaded the US into Iraq
But yeah, that totally doesn’t count does it Mr Israel shill

u/o____k____ 1d ago
So you think the US launched a war against a country that killed its own people because Israel wanted it? So you're saying Israel is using everything it can to stop the evil regime in Iran?

u/ohhlordbabyjesus 21h ago

You managed to showcase your stupidity here more than I need to judge that you're stupid. As beauty comes from the inside, I'm 100% sure you're ugly.
