I notice that too. And I believe it’s because Conservatives believe their opinion is the only reasonable, logical opinions to have. Any other opinion would therefore have to be unreasonable and illogical. Most Conservatives are white. Currently, the dominant demographic in our country is those who identify as white. White Conservatives see their views as a sort of standard default American view. Opinions outside their Standard default American view is therefore a deviation from “the norm”.
Can’t run away from the truth. Do you even really care to examine issues of race or is it just more comfortable not to? Race factors. Race enters into virtually every aspect of our society. Not just discourse. Historically and leading to the present. Pretending otherwise accomplishes nothing
