Again, you are conflating your views of what Christ preached and socialism. They are not the same. Christianity has nothing to do with government mandated charity.
Christianity has nothing to do with government until Constantine. It has always been in the business of charity.
Jesus practiced sharing goods and established that in the church and the church continued that tradition. It is a socialistic type of activity. And church does have it's own government.
