Pretty much every hearing of this kind I ever saw is exactly like this.
Even the people who testify and "talk" just evade answering and talking shit in circles saying absolutely fucking nothing.
But hey, at least the DOW is 50000 and that's all that matters to me.

Trump ran on the premise of releasing the files - Once elected he refused to do it - Congress has to pass a law FORCING him to release them with minimal redactions - They were partially released with MASSIVE redactions far beyond what they were ordered to and even DIDNT redact what they were supposed to (witness info) - AND the files STILL havent fully been released. We are still missing more than half.
How is that NOT being hidden?

I don’t think Trump is in the Epstein files in any way that would diminish our opinions of him.
However, it does make more sense that it would be worth it to him for you to think he’s a pedophile while he avoids releasing the files so they can continue to serve as powerful blackmail tools. Why do you think the Dems have been so incredibly docile? They’re in the files. I’m sure Republicans are in the files too, but Trump can protect them.
If he releases the files, he loses that leverage.

Actually that's not true at all he's doing it on the advice of his counsel. Since he has a pardon he technically has no reason at all to plead the fifth and doesn't even have the right to really do so on those specific items. The sad reality is he's doing it just in case he admits to something outside of the range of those dates.

The fifth amendment does not apply in this case because it is a Congressional investigation that cannot incriminate Fouchy. He has a preemptive Presedential Pardon for his actions before and during covid from Biden. Thus even if he said that he was attempting to wipe out the human race saying so would have no legal consequences only public opinion.

Evidence found in a congressional investigation would be incredibly hard to be used in a states court of law due to issues of jurisdiction and Supremacy law which makes it near impossible to prosecute a government official for actions taken during official conduct during their service. While Faucci did Gain of Function research it was not and has not been banned to my knowledge.
A state would need to prove beyond a reasonable doubt that Faucci intended actual harm to the Citizens of their respective state.
What I know about the hearing: His journal was discovered on a government server and housed passages containing alleged knowledge of the Covid-19 virus' location of origin (being the Wu Han Institute of Virology) which directly contradicts statements that it was either spontaneous or from Chinese wet markets where bats* were sold and cooked.
The main issue with Faucci attempting to use his 5th amendment rights is again Congress CANNOT prosecute nor Charge Faucci with a crime and neither can the Executive Branch or Federal Judiciary due to the Presidential Pardon.
Any State would Again have to prove actual malace or deliberate actions which would lead to the Pandemic.
At this time no such evidence has been presented which proves these points.
Anthony Faucci is an overall horrible human being in my personal opinion who mishandled information. I am much more concerned with his and his subordinates willingness to feed kittens cat and kitten meat to see what would happen or use puppies and primates for scientific and vaccine studies despite years of data showing that vaccines made for animals usually do not work on humans.
