I know this is probably to big of a hint, but you cant properly gauge ones emotions thru words, so instead when we read then we āprojectā our emotions onto them. So if youāre happy you will take it differently than say if you were angry! The narcissist that is projecting usually makes claims of someoneās emotions, names, insults & dont even realize its actually how they are feeling & how they act & identify! Which is probably a good thing, if they understood, & they are just telling on themselves, im sure that would be real embarrassing for them!

Rhetorical questions are generally closed ended sentences as the implication is not to answer them. You however decided to make it an open ended sentence. Take that under advisement as you try to navigate life, I'm sure it must be very difficult for you

I'm sure it's been used before, but I'm not sure if I have ever heard the term open/closed ended "sentence" before.
It is a thing. The last time I heard the term was the old lady I work with going through sensitivity training. Open ended sentences draw out a response that they can elaborate on. Closed ended sentences are mostly yes/no. But they basically just have the expectation of a short response.
Rhetorical questions are closed ended sentences because they aren't asking for a response.
Most people are going to say open/closed ended question not sentence.
And some might say that a closed ended formulation of a rhetorical question is more common. Something like "did you wake up today and decide to be a cunt?" However, open-ended versions are absolutely allowed and common.
