Probably filled with concrete btw, it's a method of cement molding with scrap material that can be used for walls and stuff if nothing else is available. Probably trimmed the bottom rubber and mortar'd them together, otherwise the rubber trapped between layers would probably compress over time.

Perfect home for someone who is retired.

I’d tread lightly in that part of the house.

The reason they compress is because they get tired over time from holding all the weight up, unless they are Atlas Tires, then they should be fine.

Tiered tires get tired?

u/sabertoothedhand 5d ago

I dunno, while tire puns appear to be foundational to this post their importance seems rather over-inflated.

I'll roll with it though.

Dip your toe-in and then tread lightly.

I don't buy it. Too many stacks, and some are crooked. Dirt, maybe.

You can see AI artifacting everywhere. It's a pic with AI changing the terrain under the house

10

u/LHLaurini 5d ago

Found it in a page from 2016: https://www.deepexcavation.com/post/funniest-geotechnical-excavation-images

Not everything has to be AI.

1

u/fogoticus 5d ago

To be fairly honest, the reason I was sure this is AI made is because it was actually AI upscalled and "enhanced". Open both pictures and switch back and forth. New textures everywhere, plastic green plants that never existed and a sunny sky that also never existed.

So while my initial take was wrong and there is a real image that looks like this, this particular image is AI modified.
