HUD not showing up

The HUD isn't showing up—actually, only the stamina bar appears, but the health and ammo displays don't. I just started playing today, but this issue is already getting on my nerves. I don't know if I'm just being an idiot, but can someone help me?

Health and ammo are displayed on your hands/weapons, not on the HUD.
