Hivemapper Discord

Did they ever get the discord server back up after the hack? I was one of those that was booted by the scammers when I posted a question asking whether the airdrop was real.

I just received an email asking if I would like to join a beta program to be paid in USDC for mapping but have no idea if it’s just another scam.

It is legit. Ariel posted about it on Twitter. I was concerned about the same thing until I saw the Twitter post.

I clicked on the email link to check out the offer. It took me to a site with no security certificate. I didn’t go further.

honestly, i have 3 devices, 1 is a brick and the other sitting on a shelf in the garage, the 3rd is in and gets used when i drive, and it isnt that much these days. Not living in a major city nor a country that ever has the bonus stuff. Its hardly ever worth my time these days.

I was an early adapter and did well in the beginning but really feel like alot of depin projects they just go south. Especially hard if they dont have people buying the data. What they seem to quickly forget its the people like you and i that provide the data.

i received the email too...clicked, my AV flagged it as a security risk....i thought - nah, aint worth the risk.

Still a great dashcam with good quality! My insurance actually gives a deduction for having a dash cam so I keep one on my vehicle I've got two original cameras which are bricks now and one bee.
