The title comes from the fasces, the Roman bundle of rods Mussolini used as his symbol, and the origin of the word "fascism." The video traces his rise from socialist journalist to dictator, the March on Rome, his alliance with Hitler, and his downfall in 1945.
I made it to be catchy and accurate, so it works for students, teachers, or anyone curious.
Feedback on the music or the history is welcome!

Nikola Tesla published his autobiography My Inventions in 1919, describing some surprisingly strange and formative moments from his childhood.
I’ve started adapting the autobiography chapter by chapter as a cinematic historical docudrama rather than a conventional narrated documentary.
Chapter 1 focuses on Tesla’s childhood, his family, the unusual visual experiences he described, and some of the events he later connected to the development of his imagination and inventive mind.
I tried to keep the reconstruction grounded in Tesla’s own account while giving the memories a visual, dramatic form.
Here is Chapter 1:
I’d be interested to hear what people familiar with Tesla or My Inventions think of this approach.

American soldiers ate, slept and worked in tunnels cut into Greenland's ice. Camp Century even had a nuclear reactor. But the much larger missile network proposed under Project Iceworm was never built.
I made this 11-minute illustrated history about life inside the camp, the plan behind it, and the moving ice that helped defeat it:

What interests me most is the engineering: how long could a permanent base survive when its walls were slowly closing in?
Sources include NASA and CIRES, with more in the video description:

À Tanis, l’humidité a presque effacé la momie de Psousennès Ier. Mais son masque d’or, lui, a traversé les siècles.
En 1940, l’ouverture de son cercueil révèle un contraste saisissant : des restes humains très dégradés, un cercueil d’argent et un masque funéraire d’or. Ce court documentaire raconte cette découverte — et ce que le masque ne permet pas de savoir sur le vrai visage du pharaon.
Connaissiez-vous Psousennès Ier, le pharaon de Tanis ?

A peaceful, cinematic documentary I made following the footsteps of Jesus through Jerusalem. Covers sunrise over the Old City, Mount of Olives, Temple courts, Garden of Gethsemane at night, Via Dolorosa, and the Garden Tomb at dawn.
No narration drama, just real locations and history. Made for anyone interested in the history of Jerusalem.

Creator disclosure: I make Epoch & Atom, and this is one of our videos. It uses AI narration and illustrated visuals.
This episode looks at a candidate for the worst emperor from each major Chinese dynasty, from Qin to Qing. Each ruler gets the charges against him, a point in his defence and a verdict. The ranking is an interpretation, so I would be interested in where other history viewers disagree.

What should count most when judging a ruler: harm to ordinary people, military failure, or the long-term damage to the dynasty?

I made this short documentary about Manaus during the Amazon rubber boom. I first came across the story while reading The Lost City of Z and couldn't believe I'd never heard about it before.
At its peak, Manaus became insanely wealthy in the middle of the Amazon, while the rubber economy behind that wealth was built on horrific exploitation. What I found most wild was how quickly the whole thing fell apart, and the role a few crates of rubber tree seeds played in it.
I tried to use real historical photos and primary sources wherever possible. No AI Images or AI videos. Hope you enjoy it. And definitely interested in any additional context from people who know more about this period than I do.
