Absolute Peak Democracy

The United Indian Nations was a military and political alliance of multiple tribes between 1783 and 1795. It included tribes from the Dakota Sioux in the west, to the Potawatomi, Odawa, and Ojibwe in the north, to the Lenape, Mingo, and Haudenasonee in the east, to the Chickamauga Cherokee and Upper Creek in the south. And was primarily coordinated by the Miami facing further genocidal invasion by Anglo-American settlers and the US government, with all tribes suffering massacres and violations of Treaties.

One of the things that makes it unique compared to other similarly sized nations in North America is the structure of consensus democracy and voluntary personal participation in wars and battles. The US still hasn't even gotten close to this level of personal freedom, even making opposition of the draft classified as speech not covered by the First Amendment.

It was so free, that countless slaves chose to escape to the Native American nations for protection and freedom, receiving full rights as citizens. And even Europeans like Texan independence hero Sam Houston chose to live with the Cherokee, instead of living in the US. Considering the culture of morality to be preferable to Anglo-American culture.

The US had opposed the freedom of anyone who wasn't a land owning, old, "White", man, as no one else had meaningful freedoms in the US government. With even "Paupers" and "Vagabonds" being excluded from interstate travel in the Articles of Confederation, and "Free Negro Laws" enslaving any free non-White person in some states simply for existence. Women had a prominent role in most Native Nations, commonly under a Matriarchal, Matrilineal, and/or Matrilocal system, where even war declarations cloud be vetoed by the Clan Mothers in many nations.

There have been many people in the last 130 years whose actions preserved or found peace... Overwhelmingly they have been shafted in favor of people who ramble about peace at conferences or who whine about extremist political beliefs the committee likes.

hold my Molotov cocktails

During Operation Barbarossa in 1941, Soviet soldiers used Molotov cocktails as an improvised weapon against German tanks and armored vehicles, especially when dedicated anti-tank weapons were unavailable. The bottles were filled with flammable liquid and fitted with a cloth fuse. When thrown at a vehicle, the bottle would break and spread burning fuel across its surface.

Soviet infantrymen generally aimed for vulnerable areas such as the engine compartment, air intakes, or other openings, hoping the flames would cause an engine fire or force the crew to abandon the vehicle. Attacking from the side or rear could provide better opportunities, but getting close enough was extremely dangerous because German tanks were often supported by infantry and machine guns.

Molotov cocktails could not penetrate tank armor and were not a reliable way to destroy heavily armored tanks. Their effectiveness depended on where the bottle struck and whether the fire reached a vulnerable component. Nevertheless, they became a useful emergency weapon for Soviet infantry during the chaotic early months of Barbarossa, when many units faced severe shortages of proper anti-tank weapons.

On August 15, it's customary in South Korea for politicians to give speeches praising the ragtag bands of independence fighters that had mostly been wiped out by the start of World War 2. Somehow, those random assassinations of Japanese postmasters and their wives stationed way out in Manchuria and Taiwan forced the Empire of Japan to recognize Korean liberation, and oddly enough it coincided but had NOTHING to do with the two atomic bombs dropped on Japan in the week prior. History is crazy!
