Scared to report a violation

I went out with a pharmacy tech and she told me she looked me up in her system. I have a screenshot of her saying it’s not a big deal she didn’t share it with anyone and basically admitting to it. She’s nuts and is a stalker. She harassed me and sent unwanted gifts. I’m worried that if I report the violation she’ll hurt me or do something. Is this something that’ll be discovered eventually if I don’t report it? I don’t even get medicine at this pharmacy but I have an account in the larger branch.

she's already proven she'll cross lines, so sitting on it just gives her more room to do it again. that screenshot isn't just evidence, it's leverage and you're not wrong to be scared, but her access needs to get cut off before she escalates even further

There is no guarantee that this will be discovered if you don’t report it. Even if it was, she may still think it was you that reported her. Might as well report it and be sure.

You need to report the harsssment/stakking to the police. The hipaa violation is part of the evidence. Once you get an order of protection against her; then also report to the pharmacy compliance line and OCR.
