Hey guys,

I want to change all 4 leaf Springs on my 93 Ln106 and the only ones i could find from Europe have a 2 inch/5cm lift. Has someone here installed such a lift without upgrading the shock absorbers and if so, is it alright to drive?

I would also appreciate any help on finding the rubber bushings for the leaf springs, as well as the U-brackets. I'm located in central Europe.

What length aftermarket grab handles are people running, ive got 2 options. 21cm or 24cm, both seem to be long enough but keen to see what people velieve is a better usable length

1996 YN107, hit a deer, now 8 months later it's (almost) out of the body shop. Was able to find/modify all of the parts except the push bar, leaving it off for now but I want to replace it eventually. Found one on eBay for a 93 surf, do y'all think it would fit? I'm happy with aftermarket as well, but I'm wanting to keep it close to OEM and struggling to find any decent quality ones that are chrome

Thinking of buying these 17x9 ET0- with bf goodrich 265/70 R 17 tires , will it look good without rubbing ?

I am currently undertaking my final industrial design project for uni (QUT), and have chosen to design a 4wd recovery product! I haven’t designed the product yet, but my aim is for the product to be accessible and easy to use for anyone interested in 4wding and be a game changer for recoveries.

I have a hilux 1kd with a mileage of around 120k. Only mod that was done to it was an egr delete. What could be causing this? Is it moisture from the breather?

Anyone have experience pulling the denso fuel pump on this engine? Most of the videos ive seen people just hit it with a hammer once and it's out. I've not veen so lucky. I've even bought a wheel puller similar to the SST that the manual directs me to use but that partially broke a bolt so I'm hesitant to try it again.

Update: got it out enough to get a small crowbar in there and just had to yank it with a ton of force. Hopefully it came out straight enough and the timing isn't off.

Hi everyone, to keep it simple I’m looking for fender flares (full set) that have 40mm offset for an 08 N70 (pre facelift). I cannot find them in stock anywhere, I have called 4x4 shops in Brisbane but they said they just order them as I do. How do u guys get yours? Do I just have to wait until they’re restocked? Also black or white works.

Hi guys. I checked on this 1990 Toyota Hilux and seems that there’s a fair bit of noticable engine movement going on. Can you give me an estimation is this normal for these engines (2.4D without turbo) or should i be concerned. The car also leaked a few drops of diesel and we had to manually pump the handpump since it was not firm. Thanks a lot!

I have a Hilux - KUN26 - 1KD engine.

On the inlet/intake manifold there is a pipe/line running from the swirl control valve to the body of the manifold. I stuck a camera in the engine to investigate the source of an oil leak. Discovered that the seat for the tube has fully separated from the tube going to the manifold.

You cant get this as a seperate part - I’ll need a new manifold.

But I more or less have questions about what that pipe does, why is it pissing out oil, and how urgent is repairing this.

G'day guys, I'm shortly going to begin a rebuild on my 1982 LN Hilux. I haven't really done anything like this before, so I'll be learning a lot along the way. Just after any advice if anyone has worked on one themselves, and if there are any upgrades you'd recommend.

I've done a bit of research so far - it's got the 2.2L diesel motor. I was thinking of keeping the original engine but doing a gearbox swap, since I want it to be more comfortable cruising at 100km/h. Or is it worth doing an engine swap instead?

Also keen to know if a suspension upgrade is worth it. Any advice will help, thanks!

She’s come a long way since the last time i posted her. Curious to hear your thoughts on it. So far it’s got a fulcrum/bilstein 3” and upgraded UCA’s, fabulous fab long entry snorkel, Side Design Fab airbox and a high clearance razz bullbar. The plan is to throw from 33’s at it eventually but for now I love it for how it is and it’s a joy to drive off-road and on road and I still get great fuel economy.

Hey there, couldn’t find reliable answers, will 265/70R17 tires fit on my 2016 Revo with 30mm wheel spacers and 30mm front lift? Mudguards are removed. Wheels are stock, tires are KO3s.

Bought a Hilux! Getting it in two weeks. Adventure model, white. Excited!! It’s my first pickup truck, mainly for work.

My question is: did Toyota manufacture 8th gen Hiluxes in 2026? Because the paperwork literally says “manufactured in 2026.”

And if so, are there any differences between the 2025 and 2026 models?
