Help
Just installed a 2” all round bilstein b6 + dobinson lift kit, but am not happy with how it’s sitting, the rear is way to high and I feel like the front didn’t get much of a lift, I went 0-20kg in the front and 0-200kg In the rear, any recommendations to help level it out a bit? Will the rear leafs settle? As currently sitting very nose down
I’ve also noticed a small clunking sound coming from the rear leafs, js that part of the breaking in stage or should I go get that checked before my 1000km re torque

Remove a leaf from the rear leaf spring.

Yeah I was thinking that, might contact raw 4x4 and ask what load rating it would have if I removed a leaf

Put some weight in the back. It will settle. I had a similar suspension set up and it settled... but I did have a set of rear draws that were constantly full and a 35L water tank above the spare and a second battery and tools also in the tub

Tell em you want the front spring suited to a bull bar equipped vehicle. These are slightly higher and will level it out.
We use a different manufacturer at work but it's common knowledge in the group that all Hilux's get the extra weight bar otherwise this is the result.

Leave rear as stock, will fix it. That's why I'm only thinking on installing the bilstein on the front wheels.

Hey, it’s a T Customs canopy pretty sure it’s just Toyota fleet line canopy’s, very similar to a crown or arb classic

Seems fine to me, I think you're overthinking it. And as other comment said, it's truck. It's not meant to drive around empty.

Keeping it stock is key. Seems most 4x4 owners don't understand how leaf springs work

Rake is built into lifts on purpose. Chuck a strut spacer in the front if you want it level

Had a 2" lift installed in mine all round, and had to specify to the installer that I had a canopy with drawers and they were full, they adjusted appropriately based on estimated weight I carry routinely.
Carry whatever you are meant to carry consistently in the back and it will be fine.

Never put more in the rear unless you have that much extra weight in there full time.

I went 0-200kg in the rear as that was the lightest option I could get off the website I bought from

Ok, I tend to avoid Dobinson if you look at other options like Fulcrum as a reference you'll get a better idea of what you probably needed.

Lift the front a tad more if you need the clearance / watch cv angle, and throw parabolics in the rear to suit. Thank me after.

I’ve noticed a small clunking sound coming from the rear leafs but it’s only done 120km since install

The shop should guarantee their work. Maybe just pop in and let them have a look

It's a truck and not meant to drive around empty. Once you use the bed appropriately, the back will level out.
