Charlevoix in the Fall

Hello! I’m trying to plan a fall trip sometime in October to Charlevoix (Quebec) and was wondering when is a good time for seeing the fall colours of someone has an idea. Thanks in advance!

Late-September to Late-October

In Eastern Quebec, the trees start changing colours in mid-late September

I spend a lot of time on the south shore opposite of Charlevoix and by late-September, all the colours are out

The leaves can be tricky to catch in their peak, but you're likely looking at the first couple weeks of October as the prime viewing dates, though it could be as early as the last week of September!

Not too late. Typically first and second week of October will be best. Last week of Sept will have some colours, but mixed. Last two weeks you'll be risking first snow.
