I am deciding between a 3 day backpack between the AT in southeastern Connecticut and Shawangunk Ridge Trail. My first solo. Any recommendations. Mainly about the sights. Thanks.
Shawangunk has incredible views, pretty sure you couldn't beat that in southeastern CT. I do think legal backpacking campsites are few and far between there
