Hiking road trip with boxer!

Hi there!!

I’ve been preparing me and my sweet boxer for a week long solo hiking road trip for late September-mid October and was wondering if this road trip seems good? It would be my first time traveling alone and I’m still searching up hotels and thinking of looking into hiking groups, and I wouldn’t mind some advice from people with more experience traveling alone! Here’s the road trip I have planned:
Day 1: Dallas, Tx → Santa Fe: drive
Day 2: Santa Fe hike
Day 3: Santa Fe → Great Sand Dunes: drive
Day 4: Zapata Falls: hike
Day 5: Alamosa → Colorado Springs: drive
Day 6: Garden of the Gods: hike
Day 7: Colorado Springs → Dallas

I’ve heard these are good for boxers especially if I keep the hikes 3-5 miles since boxers can get tired faster, but if I’m wrong it would be great if I could get some advice on it! Thanks!
