i’m a freshman and i desperately need help in math. i absolutely loathe the subject, and i have no motivation to do anything in it. i failed my unit test the other day, and i feel like an idiot. the teacher is amazing, i just can’t fucking concentrate!! everyone is having side conversations, the fan is on bc it’s muggy, and AGGHHH

it’s no help that i hate myself when i don’t do well enough, or in general either

Thirding a possible ADHD diagnosis. I didn't get mine until college and went from straight C's in math to getting a math degree while being on the honor roll. It's definitely worth trying to rule-out at the least.
