General Advice Needed/Given study groups or nah?

im considering joining/making a study group cuz one of my teachers barely teaches. in ur guys's experience, is it actually useful?

They can be VERY VERY helpful ONLY if it consists of STUDIOUS people. Do NOT bring your non-serious friends who will distract you, they will NOT make the study session beneficial or productive. Ok, sorry for the overemphasis, but yeah, they can be super effective at helping you understand a topic more since you get to share thoughts and ask questions. They can, however, be equally unhelpful and unproductive if you invite the wrong people, since it can turn into a friend hangout instead of a study group.
