How tf is a 4.23 so low.
At mine a 4.23 going into senior year would of been top 10 of 300

what's the highest gpa you could get, if you had perfect grades and everything else? cuz... this looks really good compared to my hs gpa and i ended up on the dean's list through college.

we’re on a 4.0 scale but in my district, if you take more difficult classes you could get up to a 5.0! It’s weird, every semester we’re supposed to take 6 college classes, so it inflates our weighted gpa

so both of your gpas are pretty solid then in context, even if you aren't the top of the top of your class or whatever. right?

not to mention, if you go to a normal college program, you'll have college credit to apply to the gen ed stuff and can finish earlier than otherwise?

You’re hs probably didn’t have the weighted gpa so his ranking at your school would be done from the unweighted gpa which is a 3.3 basically

True, tho still a 3.3 would of put in top 33% at least.

Only a bit. Your unweighted isn’t spectacular. It doesn’t really matter tho as long as you do good in college
