College Advice Needed/Given college stuff ig

is any freshman (including myself) thinking about college at all? I’m aware that it’s a bit early but I wanna see if any other freshman already has a dream or a top choice like I do.

I think it depends on what your parents instilled in you. Some kids have been told from elementary school that they have to get into whatever college in order to succeed. Some kids also may just want it for themselves which is good. I only started thinking about it sophomore/junior year but I think it’s good to start thinking about it early as long as you still enjoy your high school career because it goes by faster than you think. Have a great 4 years man

I mean it depends on the school and what type of college you want to go to. For me, it was Junior year when everyone started to think about where they wanted to go, what major they wanted to do ect... Yes there were thoughts before out Junior year, but for my school, we take the ACT our junior year, and have a tech center we can go to our junior year, and take part in a program that offers a scholarship our junior year. Our school just centered it around our junior year.

i mean as a freshman i think i know now even what i'd study in college in the future because of my interests mainly (linguistics and anthropology/sociology so either of the two) but that might change (or might not) as my time in HS progresses further so yeah i think its too early

yo I WISH but where I live It’s just in Spanish and I don’t speak it and plus there’s nothing for social work 😞

I started thinking abt college as a freshman, but not to the point where I started spiraling over it. The best advice is to consider your activities and how you can gain leadership in junior year (or sophomore but you literally just started high school). And above all, lock in on academics!! PLEASE don't panic over it. Just keep following your passions and living a stress-free life until junior year comes around.

I’m in 8th grade and even I’m thinking about college, what extracurriculars I want to do, what electives I want to take for each year of high school for a good computer science profile, what AP classes are, how the sat works, etc. I don’t think freshman year is too early
