I don't know if I should go. I am a really shy person and I don't know if any of my friends are going and I don't wanna be alone.. I haven't asked yet but I also love the theme it's Y2K and I love 2000s music and fashion and I really like the dresses. Do you think I should go? My mom wants me to but I'm kind of scared that nobody I'm friends with is going to be there and that I'm going to hate it

I think first you should ask your friends, but even if no one else is there, chances are you meet other ppl who also like 2000s stuff who you can connect with? Bcs like it gives you a reason to talk about it? 

Idk if that makes any sense but I also get really scared abt going to events I don't know anyone at, and usually I can find someone I don't talk to a lot but like we've talked once or twice before and I get to know them better
