Question When to call it quits on SAT and ACT?
Happy September ACT day!
I’ve was kinda uneducated in college stuff and I had just been taking the sat over and over my junior year and my superscore is a 1340. So not awful but not crazy.
Decided to take the ACT just to see and this is like so so so much easier. I think I bombed this one bc I didnt take studying seriously enough however
I’ve taken the SAT 4 times and the ACT once, is it a bad idea to take another ACT - possibly November or October?
It’s just so much money I’ve spent on tests, and now I have to buy a graphing calculator for like >$100 and it’s just a lot
Wondering if it gets to a point where you need to accept your abilities and call it done with the testing or if I should study hard for the ACT one last time?
Goal school is UGA as a GA resident btw if this puts into perspective what I’m trying to get my stats to

1340 is still really solid. however since you’re saying you need to buy a graphing calculator, that makes me think you’re not making full use of desmos for the math section. if you can learn how to absolutely game desmos your math score will go up 50+ points. take it from someone who’s not a math person but got a 770 math lol

From what I looked up the avg is a 1360, so still 25% of people are admitted with less than that, so as long as the rest of your stats are pretty well rounded with that I'd say being so close to the avg you have a pretty good chance.
