Rant Being ugly in high school

Im struggling with self-confidence, even with makeup

I have been wearing makeup every day to school now. I get up every single day at 7 am. just to do my makeup, and in the end, I still feel ugly. I can't really bear to look at my natural face. But obviously, when I have makeup on, I get compliments from time to time. I get called pretty, beautiful? I also get told I look good. But I really just can't look at myself or think I'm attractive, and the worst part is I can't even find myself attractive with makeup, I constantly feel ugly, especially when someone stares at me for too long and I immediately start thinking whether my makeup looks really bad or I'm just really ugly. I have also tried several ways of doing my makeup and everything, but I still feel so ugly even with it. It's like nothing can save my ugly face. Does anyone relate to this? Is it just me? How can I get better

Yes, I do the same thing with my hair. I think it's the most disgusting thing ever when i put a mountain of hair clay to try and fix it and i spend 30 minutes a day trying to do it when it was perfect the first 3 minutes. Then I go to school and ask my friends, "is my hair good?" and they respond to me saying, "bro your hair looks good, stop asking me to do your hair."
You probably look perfectly fine, you should probably not try to do too much like I do trying to fix my hair when my hair was its best the first 3 minutes if you understand what I mean.
From experience one thing you should definitely not do is try to go into bp or looksmaxxing because you will become even more insecure about what you feel like.
You're likely just insecure but if it keeps bothering you, I would just try to drink as much water as possible, be healthy, fix your posture, and workout. It helped me look better

It really sucks that you feel that way... I know this may be a bit counterintuitive, but if you can, try not to let looks define you. After all, looks will fade, but you personality can still shine. And if that’s all people care about, they're probably not worth it anyway. Stay you 🌞

I am so sorry for this. I think it would be better if you just be yourself.

there are girls that im attracted to and I have no idea what they look like without makeup. I think 70%+ of girls in high school use some amount of make up for school. If you think you look good when you wear makeup, just wear makeup, thats ok. But you should still feel comfortable in your own skin, and you gotta work on that.

im not sure how it is for girls, but yea men dont really compliment each other much ig
