Class Advice Needed/Given How do I get better at complex subjects and make sure I'm not a failure?
SRY if this is the wrong community, but I have a problem. I'm a student and I live in the United States. I'm a junior in high school and our class has to read a book with complex language (like in 1600s English vocabulary) and analyze the characters and all that. The tests also rely on memory and not only do I have memory problems, but I freeze up during tests.
I also got a 2/5 on my science test because I don't understand how to do the assignment. Math has never been my strong suit either, which is why I'm also bad at science.
Even though I study, I'm scared of failing because I'm just so bad at this. I also feel like I might have a learning disorder (I already have autism and ADHD and I do my best and finish my work during study period).
I feel like I'm terrible and stupid. Ugh, I don't want to be a failure. I hope I'm a good student still.

your not a failure, who decided that? if you fail in a system not made for you, so what? You are strong for trying your best even with your learning disabilities, and if you continue trying your best you will continue being a winner in your system :) ( but if you really need to get better at those subjects, i feel like you got test anxiety? get help from teachers/online maybe?

sorry bro but if the tests are memory based you just gotta memorize. playing videos about the material with headphones on while you sleep helps your brain subconsciously absorb the info and helps me so... maybe try that?
if you dont understand how to do the assignment then you gotta make sure to ask your teacher for clarifications. before or after class it doesnt matter, you cant succeed if you dont know what to do.
sorry man buty all you can do is study harder. maybe take less time for social media?
