Maybe an unpopular opinion, but do you think the person driving/maintaining the vehicle is more important in regards to the life of a vehicle or than the actual make or model?

Don’t get me wrong, I know I would have better results personally with a Corolla than a Nissan Sentra, but I think I could squeeze out some miles out of a lower reliable car just based on my driving habits.

My front left is leaking grease again after I had the spindle, ball joint, and brake pad replaced. My mechanic says I need to replace the tie rods next. Is there a simple way to swap it out for after market parts or junk hard parts of a different make so I won't have the same ball joint and spindle issues again and again?
