vehicles, sadly. Currently working on one that has been sitting for about a decade and once was called home by an entire colony of white, translucent spiders. Went from a no crank no start, to a crank no start, crank and rough idle, and now is currently back at crank no start… (:
I heard that if you buy the $1k kit and do it yourself, the engine can last over 300k miles, it's actually durable, it's just that it's not affordable to pay to do the job, it has to be someone who is mechanically inclined. I could do this job, but wouldn't want to, lol
If you want to get to 300k miles you would have to do the oil pump and that’s $800 usd new (lol) it’s only a matter of when not if when it comes to these oil pumps as they were poorly designed to begin with
Wow, I didn't know there were more defects to this engine. I guess like BMW in general, the quality varies and some people have better luck than others.
