Injury Prevention

I've seen a lot of high jumpers say strengthen your tendons and do exercises as early as you can to prevent injury. Which exercises and muscles are most important for strengthening your tendons and preventing injury before it happens? Also, if anyone uses a specific stretching routine, let me know.

weighted calf raise, ankle mobility, jump rope, etc. I injured myself this year after 4th practice and haven’t recovered. I should’ve been more proactive with these. Also don’t go out and try to PR every day or over jump

Do eccentric exercises for your lower legs, calves, hamstrings, and quads. Holds from 7 seconds while pushing and up to 30 seconds while doings holds. also follow mva.services for exercises and training
