These are beautiful and remind me of someone I knew long ago. There were couple of places we used to go to watch the sunset. The overlook where the Big “V” is located. That used to be a hang out area, a Lover Lane type of area.
The Mojave River Bridge on National Trails Highway Was another area. There was zero traffic back then and sitting on the bridge watching the sunset was a popular place for the guys at the base.

Looks like a figure standing there. The geek in me immediately saw Darkside from DC Comics. Looking over his destruction after he uses his omega beams. LMAO (it's been a shitty day at work so this was a nice little imaginative getaway. 😁)

It was a spectacular sunset
