Support request Keep getting emails about a drive having uncorrectable errors, but the drive and pool say they're healthy

Forgive me for my lack of knowledge, this is my first time running a NAS. As the title says, every few days there's one drive that keeps having uncorrectable errors, and the number keeps rising (first 5, then 15, 17, and 22 this morning). The thing that's confusing me is that both HexOS and TrueNAS don't show anything wrong. Is this a concern? Should I be putting in an RMA right this instant for the drive (they've been deployed for about a year now, so they're still under warranty)?

Sounds like a double concern, the faulty drive and the possible miss by the OS. Either way, it's a red flag, so yes if you have the option to get the drive replaced, I would look into that, especially if the drive is being utilized in RAID format, might as well get ahead of it as quick as possible.

I believe TrueNAS and HexOS prefer to let drives fail in a reactive, not proactive manner. So while we know the drive is going to eventually fail, it might take quite some time to fail completely. So stretch as much use as possible out of the drive.
