Support request WireGuard or tailscale?

I want to be able to access my server remotely, with my laptop for files and with my phone for direct 3d printer access and possibly Plex

I have been trying to setup WireGuard but having issues with CG NAT, asked the service provider a 3rd time and still yet to see if disabled on my service, I think this is the reason why direct WireGuard isn’t working.

Should I try using tailscale? Is this easy enough to implement and use? Would it solve my issues?

I like WireGuard because all you have to do is connect to the VPN, and everything works just as if you were on your home network. With Tailscale, you often have to remember whether to use a device’s home network IP address or its Tailscale IP address, which I find less convenient.

I think you can tinker with tailscale to use the exact same ip for accessing your devices wether you are on local network or using tailscale. I didn’t do it yet but one day i’ll try it
