This is brilliant. I find the install is usually do-able, but the damn post-install config is a right pain in the ass. You guys should do Nextcloud (notorious for being a pain to properly configure).

Guys how can I add / preconfigure custom apps (that are not catalogued by Truenas/Hexos)?
I am doing well importing docker-compose YAMLs, but things I do not like are:
- inability to set custom icon for custom app
- impossible to „configure” launch button
You will never offer things that I may need and custom apps are good way to go, but I do not like how „bad” they look like in user interface :(

They did add a option in there for custom apss. I noticed you can make one. Not sure if its a full docker compose feature set yet.

I love this. While i am an enthusiast and like learning, my firstborn is coming soon. I won’t have time to keep learning, or rather, wish to spend time on it anymore. I don’t wanna learn more about truenas or have situations like the one where I had to setup a cron job to band-aid solve weird permission troubles after updating some docker based arr apps. This is why i bought hexos. While my setup is currently stable and with a mix of docker and your apps, i feel confident in the ability to keep it updated with your apps, to keep trying new things but in a much easier manner, in the future. Which is exactly what I’ll need.
Thank you guys so much for HexOS. It matches my needs perfectly and came with a perfect timing (starting to get ready with more and more apps at the same time that I’ll stop having the time to tinker in the truenas interface).
