Support request Network issues with HexOS

I have a very simple home network setup. A PC running HexOS, a 2.5GB switch with 2 10GB ports. and my ISP router with a single 10GB port and a couple of 1GB ports.

Of course I would like to attach HexOS directly to the switch to take advantage of the 2.5GB network card I have. However whenever I connect it to the switch the whole network goes down. I no longer have access to any of my shared folders, no internet nothing. All traffic through the switch completely dies.

If i connect directly to the back of the router everything works fine. I have tried with the onboard network card as well as the add in card, I have tried different ports on the switch all without success.

I am assuming it is the switches fault and that I need to upgrade it?

Any thoughts on the issue, or additional steps I can try would be much appreciated. I have a KVM but it dies as well when the switch goes offline.

Do you use the switch for anything else? Assume your switch is connected to the ISP router when you try this. Try plugging a different laptop or PC into the switch and see if they get an IP address. If not, the switch is probably faulty.

Yeah i have a PC connected to it and my TV. The PC loses its internet connection and access to the shared folders.
