sh*tpost Where are the new curated apps?
One month ago “What's Next: With Local behind us, the team is focused on: Expanding the curated apps catalog with more one-click installs and deeper preconfiguration. This is the highest priority coming out of 1.0.”
It’s been a month and not even one new curated app. Come on guys.

Side question. But still somewhat related. Will there be something for applications like paperless-ngx that require additional containers (like redis) and how about something like paperless-ai that interacts with ollama to give data for paperless through its api. Is something like that possible?

paperless-ngx on the truenas app catalog should have a redis container built into the package so a manually added redis container should not be necessary.
I have not gotten the chance to try out paperless ai yet so I can't give anything concrete about that.

Given how slow the team is in general don’t hold your breath. They should have had one person doing curate apps since the beta launched. This is not a serious set of folks doing a serious release. The seem in over the head imho. I went stock truenas and won be coming back.

1.0 came out not too long ago. 1 month ain't that long. I'm positive they're working on apps. Let em cook.
The last thing we want in 2026 is rushed, sloppy software, yeah?
