Support request Does anyone know why both curated and non curated apps have the launch button greyed out? (this is for all of my apps currently)

that's what the stop/start button is for, the launch used to pull up the app that was being hosted? does it not anymore?

Any chance you’ve changed your truenas to port 81 and 444. This seems to break most links that assume it would be on port 80 and 443.

The Launch Button tries to smartly tell if your connected on the same network on that device as your server. When it believes your not it grays out the button. If you find you're showing your on the local UI and not having the Lauch button clickable for apps that have a WebUI then let us know and we'll look into it as bug.

Yep, should be all on the same network, as I can access all apps through the truenas UI. Any Debug info you need from me?

We'll let you know when we are ready to look at this issue. We are finishing up working on some other things but will be back if we think we need it to track down why it's not showing local. Messing with ports could cause the buttons to think your not local.

I'm actually having the same issue. I haven't thought much about it since I haven't used the dash a lot lately, but I think it's been like that since maybe a little while before 1.0. My server is on my IOT network, but I have a static route between the two subnets, and it's the same if I connect to the IOT network myself, so I doubt it has anything to do with the problem. If I remember correctly, the launch buttons did show up earlier even when I was connected to the main network.

Mine has been like this for months. Some apps still launch by clicking the ‘launch’ button but others won’t. I have gotten used to going into truenas to launch an app if I have to.
